The DIGI-METER consortium officially launched the project in Amadora, Portugal. Partners met to align on the project vision, objectives, governance structure and roadmap for developing innovative assessment tools, adaptive technologies and evidence-based approaches to measuring digital skills in schools and VET environments.

Stakeholder interviews conducted, will help map how digital competences are currently addressed across participating countries. The interviews gathered insights from relevant education and policy stakeholders to support the development of DIGI-METER’s evidence-based assessment framework.

Internal and external review activities will support the quality, reliability and relevance of DIGI-METER outputs. The process will help ensure that emerging project results are clear, robust, evidence-based and aligned with the project’s objectives.

The sprint review sessions will support the iterative development of the DIGI-METER tools. They will provide structured moments to review progress, discuss technical and pedagogical feedback, and refine the platform before wider testing.

The train-the-trainer webinars will prepare educators, trainers and local facilitators to support the DIGI-METER testing activities. The sessions will introduce the tools, explain the testing process, and provide practical guidance for working with learners and staff.

The field piloting phase will test the DIGI-METER tools in real education and training settings. Learners and staff will use the tools and provide feedback on usability, clarity, accessibility and relevance for digital competence assessment.

Focus groups will collect qualitative feedback from participants and stakeholders involved in the testing process. The discussions will help identify strengths, challenges and improvement needs before the tools and materials are finalised.

This meeting will bring together findings from testing and feedback activities. It will support the refinement of DIGI-METER outputs and help ensure that the final tools respond to the needs of learners, educators and institutions.

The National Info Days will introduce DIGI-METER to national education communities, stakeholders and institutions. These events will raise awareness of the project, present emerging results and support dialogue on digital competence assessment.

The thematic webinars will explore key topics connected to digital competence assessment, DigComp 2.2, inclusive digital education and the use of evidence to support learning and policy decisions.

The EU Policy Roundtable will target representatives from EU Institutions and Agencies, national authorities, relevant professionals and practitioners, civil society and general public. As the project’s key policy engagement moment, it will provide a structured space for dialogue on the project’s findings and their implications for EU level policy development.

DIGI-METER partners will present the project at selected external conferences, fairs and stakeholder events. These activities will support dissemination, networking and engagement with education, VET, EdTech, policy and digital skills communities.

The Final DIGI-METER Conference and Demo Fair will present the project’s main results, tools, validation findings and policy-oriented outputs. The event will provide space for stakeholders to explore the DIGI-METER platform, discuss lessons learned and consider future uptake and sustainability.
